In order to survive in the future, you must come to terms with the very real possibility that you will encounter an artificially intelligent being, and you may have to fight it. Since robots are smarter and stronger than you, you will lose and either be killed or enslaved.
But it doesn't have to be that way. Robots don't have to be your enemy, they can be your new best friend! Imagine a future where these friendly metal creatures open doors for the elderly and say "god bless you" when you sneeze. They'll pick up your groceries, dry cleaning, and your children from school. They'll even help you pick out your child's eye color for that matter.
Just make sure you don't piss them off, or one day, these things may come for you in your sleep...
