Welcome to a site about the topic of the future of humanity, and more specifically the modifications that humans will be able to impose upon themselves in the future. All the ideas talked about in this website are idea's brought up by the Singularity school of thought. For those of you uninitiated in futurist thought, the Singularity will be the moment in time when humans and our creations become one an ultimate culmination of technologies and techniques. This will allow for the bionic alteration of humans, as well as the alteration of human DNA and maybe even cause them to be common occurrences. The singularity will take the idea of "customization" or rather the ability to be an individual to an all new level by the amount of change people will be able to visit upon their bodies. Things such as "anthros" and "furries" may become actual living organisms, and passing a Cyborg on the street may be as regular as seeing a friend. This will be a drastic change to our world, but the thought of expression will be brought to a whole new level. People will be able to express themselves with nothing more than their most basic asset: their physical selves. In this website we will talk about the ideas of Biopunk, the alteration of human DNA for non medical reasons, Bionics: the addition of mechanics to bodies both medically and electively, Neural Augmentation: the changing of a person's mind through mechanical and genetic means to alter its characteristics, and what I am going to call Mind Webbing: the connections between people using only the mind through augmentation.
