Spine World declares itself, "A multiplayer fantasy world where you can style your avatar, meet friends, play games, own a pet, furnish your apartment and have lots of fun!" Unlike Second Life, there are interactive games which can be played in Spine World both alone and with other users. Again, the issue of property arises in Spine World. The money from the game cannot be traded for real world money, so it is more based on scoring rather than economic competition.
The environment in which the game exists looks more cartoonish rather than trying to look lifelike or 3D. Some of the environments try to appear more normal while others present a more out there, cosmic experience. In this game, it looks like you have less control over objects than in Second Life. While users in Second Life have the ability to code literally any type of object (this has become very controversial), this environment appears more limited. Nevertheless, for users looking for a more lighthearted, simplier experience this would be a great option.
