The three articles dealt with the future of Google and what direction it will take. From the dystopian view of "Scroogled" to the possible impending Singularity to Artificial Intelligence being housed by Google, all of the authors seemed to put quite a bit of faith into Google. The article about Artificial Intelligence seemed to be blindly faithful to Google in almost every way. Maybe the commenters of the Artificial Intelligence article had it right; we believe too much in Google's power. One of the commenters went so far as to say, "Google returns garbage...yet a 2-year-old child can give the correct answer." While this sort of hurling insults at one another may not be the best way to approach the future of Google, I believe it needs to be approached with caution and healthy skepticism.
