Automatic Pharmacy
The automatic pharmacy has developed as a means of providing quick quality pill packing for most major hospitals. This has allowed them to keep up with the increasingly complex demands of filling prescriptions and maintain patient safety (Swisslog, 2009). The automatic pharmacy brings up the great debate of man versus machine, or in this case, robot. While many may think the automatic pharmacy robot can completely replace a human pharmacist, artificial intelligence is simply not to that point yet.
