What is AI?
AI or Artificial Intelligence is defined by the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary as "the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior". Basically, AI is the strong "brainpower " that is being programmed into machines to rival the intelligence of people. Scientists who study and develop AI use the human brain as a model and inspiration for creating ultra-intelligent machines. AI is of special interest because society is drawing closer to a time when brainpower of AI will be greater than that of humans.
The founder of Google, Larry Page, made a statement about three years ago that said that a Google AI will be here in the future. He wants to "create the ultimate search engine that can understand anything". He wants to create a search engine that thinks better and is smarter than humans. Google is a very ambitious organization whose goal is to provide and distribute all the information in the world to the human race. It is likely that strong AI will be seen from Google in a few years.
