Our launcher did not do as well as we had hoped. Unfortunately, we did not have enough space to pull the springs back far enough so they could throw the balloon a good distance. Our launcher also started to fall apart during competition. We had to stop launching because the springs were ripping the hooks that were holding them in place out of the wood and it was deemed unsafe. Oh well, better luck next time.
