Big and Bling define our consumer choices
Our generation is obsessed with big and bling. What we buy defines who we are. The consumption of goods is what defines our culture. Advertisers and MTV tells us what we should buy, they manufacture our “cool.” They prey on our self-actualization desires, not our needs and wants. The internet is the new marketplace. If you can’t get it at a good price in the store, you can surely find it on ebay. Oh yeah, and if it doesn’t have that bling, it don’t mean a thing.
