Carbon Motors teams up with 3,000 law enforcement professionals to design and create the optimal cop car. The Carbon E7 is designed specifically for cops and it's high-tech operations make day to day police activities easier. From a 300 horsepower engine to instant license plate recognition to integrated shot gun mounts, this car is definitely constructed for police officers. Also with video and audio surveillance of the back seat, cops do not have to turn around to keep an eye on their passenger but can focus on driving while still keeping track of the other person.
Cops across the United States are still a bit skeptical about this new vechile. They said that after more testing that they would consider investing in the new car. Also with a price around $50,000 per unit, it is a little steep for them to afford even with the luxury of personal design. Possibly when the Carbon E7 goes into production in 2012, officers will be more willing to invest.
